With the advent of COVID-19 in march 2020, most outdoor markets could not go ahead because of the restrictions imposed in Victoria.

The Wangaratta Farmers Market Committee were very innovative and set up an online market to help their stall holders/producers to continue selling their produce. This was done through The Open Food Network platform . II proved to be very successful for us as producers and very popular with customers of all stall holders. We thank our hardworking Wangaratta Farmers Market committee for all their vision and effort in setting this up.

As we learn to live with Covid and its accompanying limits and restrictions, the on-ground markets have returned and the Wangaratta Farmers Market is back on each month, with its Covid plan in place, in the Holy Trinity Cathedral grounds. See full details below.
